A Word From the Man Behind the Amps

I’m Steve Bishop, the designer and owner of Bishop’s Modern Vintage. I have been a musician for most of my life. I enjoy all aspects and styles of music, but to design a unique sound that could be enjoyed by all was a particular goal I needed to achieve. I started designing and creating different sounds until I found the one that surpassed them all. A warm yet possibly aggressive tone, and decided it was time to share my creation with other musicians who, like myself, kept looking for that always elusive sound. Now I enjoy meeting my customers and they always amaze me with stories of how my amplifiers have helped them to better enjoy what they love most, playing and pleasing the people who come to hear them play.
